Bonding
Atlas Wire’s Heat Bond application allows for multiple conductors and various conductor sizes. This service is available with wire that Atlas manufactures or Atlas can bond wire that you ship to us.
Twisting
Atlas Wire’s Twist application allows for multiple conductors and various conductor sizes in the lay length that you request. This service is available with wire that Atlas manufactures or Atlas can twist wire that you ship to us.
Stripes, Lines and Skins
Spiral Stripe: Our spiral stripe has approximately 15% coverage and you can request up to 3 spiral stripes. The spiral stripe is available on reels and in drum pack.
Extruded Longitudinal Line: Available as a single or dual extruded line on reels or in drum pack.
Itasca facility has tooling to offer:
One (1) line at 15% coverage
Two (2) lines at 15% coverage each to total 30% coverage
One (1) line at 30% coverage
Two (2) lines at 20% coverage each to total 40% coverage
Tucson facility has tooling to offer:
One (1) line at 15% coverage
Two (2) lines at 15% coverage each to total 30% coverage
2 Conductor—Extruded with Longitudinal Line: Atlas Wire manufactures 2 conductor rip cords and speaker wires in solid colors or solid colors with an inlaid longitudinal line in:
#18 awg – .017″ wall, .020″ wall, and .031″ wall thicknesses
#20 awg – .017″ wall, .020″ wall, and .023″ wall thicknesses
#22 awg – .013″ wall, .017″ wall, and .020″ wall thicknesses
#24 awg – .017″ wall thickness
2 Conductor—Extruded with “Skin”: Atlas Wire can also add a “Skin” to one leg of the two-conductor rip cord. This “Skin” will give the appearance of 2 individually colored wires and is currently available with:
